Digital Memories <2023>
/Digital photography/
Memories of one's hometown in photographs come from familiar scenes and buildings. The memories captured in moments are concrete yet fluctuating, changing over time. Once familiar labels are removed, what remains is a digital framework. Memories are fleeting, but digital data is eternal.
Photographic images are digitally processed to extract the unique digital coordinates of each scene, which are then integrated back into the photos. Finally, the visual parts are removed, resulting in a memory framework composed entirely of digital elements.
